mir-najmuddin-hashimiMir Najmuddin Hashimi was born on January 1980 in Kabul, Afghanistan. After completing the high school studied medicine in the Kabul medical university and got the MD degree in 2006. In 2013 he got hia MSc. in health economics and health care management from the Chulalongkorn University of Thailand. Hashimi have been working as Head of Resource Tracking Unit and National Health Accounts (NHA) Team Lead for MoPH; also he worked as Senior Programme Assistant for UNWFP, Afghanistan. Hashimi has worked as Office Manager for Integrity Watch Afghanistan (IWA) and as Assistant Team Leader for ACBAR APPPA Project and earlier he worked as a Technical Assistant with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Tuberculosis Control Project. He had an active role in production of first ever NHA in Afghanistan and led the second NHA and first Reproductive Health (RH) subaccount production.
Currently he serves as interim vice president of ANPHA and Health Finance Advisor in USAID HSR project. He has been a member of the executive board of ANPHA for the past rounds (3 years).
